Safeguarding children is our top priority . We take very seriously our responsibility to ensure that all children we care for are safe, physically and emotionally. We know that children can only immerse themselves in their play, build on their learning, and grow in their social-emotional development when they are secure and at ease.
We work with our local safeguarding board to ensure comprehensive training is in place for our staff and best practice is followed by all, including volunteers.
We listen to children, and make space for them to communicate any worries in developmentally appropriate ways. All our staff have a duty to report if they ever feel concerned someone (a child or adult) could be at risk of harm. We work in partnership with families and will help you to access the right support if you or someone else are worried about a child.
